CHARTER: a testimonial
CoStar contracted Motion Lab in 2023 to produce a testimonial from the real estate team at Charter Communications about the new adoption of CoStar Real Estate Manager. This entailed bringing in professionals form all over the United States to Denver, Colorado to pull the project off.
The Technicals
Cameras: Sony FX9 (A Cam), Sony FX6 (B Cam), Sony FX3 (Gimbal)
Lenses: Zeiss Otus Primes (28mm, 55mm, 85mm), Sigma 24mm-70mm F2.8
Deliverables
Two (2) three minute videos (various endings & captions).
Matt’s role on the project:
Matt filled the role of Producer & Editor on this project, with an accompanying crew of 4 members (Director, Director of Photography, Grip, & Make-Up Artist ). Matt guided his crew throughout the three phases of production to provide CoStar with a deliverable that showcases why their software is worth the investment.
Charter Communications said we had 6 hours to operate, so that’s what we did. We meticulously planned our production to capture all 3 interviews and a b-roll session in 6 hours. Achieving a high-end look with a limited timeframe can often be a challenge, but we did it.
Problem: Pulling off the project with a 6 hour window.
